The Problem:

One of our clients, an owner of a manufacturing company, was facing retirement and seeking a new owner to succeed him. The company needed to make sure not to alienate its staff or customers through this process. One of the main issues was that in today’s climate manufacturing companies were a difficult sell.

The Solution:

The first step was to prepare the company for sale. The companies strengths needed to be polished and its weaknesses needed to be dulled. Through this process it was discovered that some customers found out about the sale and had become concerned with the company’s future. Through a formulated communication strategy this issue was mitigated. A plan was then devised on the best approach to selling the company. The company’s points of value were determined and the potential buyers who would see this value most were unearthed.
